#29 – Drupal open-source CMS

On June 13th, 2011 from 11:00 till 18:00, OpenToko.org presents a workshop about the open-source content management system Drupal by Peter van der West and Peter Uithoven. It will be a beginners-workshop showing the basic principles of building a website using Drupal. To attend this workshop some basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is recommended but not required.

About Drupal
Drupal is a free and open source software package that allows anyone to easily publish, manage and organize a wide variety of content on a website. Hundreds of thousands of people and organizations are using Drupal to power an endless variety of sites. Drupal is maintained and developed by a community of 599516+ users and developers.

Because of the huge amount of contributed modules, the vast majority of a site’s requirements can be addressed with Drupal core and available add-on modules. So you can focus your efforts on building great web sites, not re-creating features available elsewhere.

Drupal powers high profile websites like: The White HouseWarner Bros RecordsIKEAING and The New York Observer. For a complete list visit: http://buytaert.net/tag/drupal-sites
