12.00 – late
Open workshop. Bring your own tinker projects, exchange solutions, parts, etc. Basic tools like soldering irons will be available. We’ll also have some spare arduino boards lying around. Around 18.00 we’ll prepare some food and after dinner we’ll go on tinkering until we run out of power.

Please reply to toko at dewar.nl if you want to join.

#03 – PCB’s

2 april 2008 – Next TOKO will be about printed circuit boards. Jeroen Zijp, trainee at de Spullenmannen, will show us how to input an existing schematic into Multisim, test its functioning in a simulation, and demonstrate how to prepare a circuit board layout in Ultiboard, another electronics design tool. Last but not least we will make the actual PCB using a simple DIY method involving a laser printer, an iron and a cheap etching solution.

Next TOKO is wednesday 2nd of April, starting 15:00, ending 22:00. routedescription: http://www.spullenmannen.nl/media/route_en.pdf. More info on de TOKO can be found here: www.dewar.nl/toko (in Dutch until further notice).

Please come if you can, and let us know if you do. As usual there will be a meal halfway through the workshop. Pass this email on to others that might be interested.
